Opteka makes fine quality lens for cameras. The XTreme Digital for Flip is not any exception. The lens mounts magnetically to the Flip camera. Enclosed are 2 ½" circular rings that have adhesive on one aspect and a magnet on the opposite (you solely want one). once applying the adhesive aspect permanently to your Flip (not noticeable), the lens snaps tightly with the magnet. The read is .45 % a lot of therefore you get a far wider shot of what you're filming, that is nice for out of doors videos. However, the magnet is endured not terribly sturdy, therefore a fast snap of the wrist and your lens can drop off. If you're curious about wide angle viewing, this works fine and is definitely carried around, however it's not permanent, neither is it for every kind of Flip video filming. It's simply a pleasant additional accent.
